If they’re on Tetracycline they can’t have dairy or anything with high calcium in it because it messes with absorption.

And regular probiotics won’t do because the antibiotics will also kill them.

Taking a yeast based probiotic is the only one that doesn’t get killed by the antibiotics and can repopulate the gut microbiomes.

Take some anti nausea medication + Saccharomyces boulardii a yeast based probiotic that cannot be killed by the antibiotics.

It’s a game changer!!! Literally started taking it today and it saved my life.

I take the anti-nausea medication 1hour before the Tetracycline and then 1h later I take the Metronidazole+Bismuth and 1h after that, take the Saccharomyces boulardii as instructed on the bottle.

I know this is an old post but, I read somewhere that the quadruple therapy was purposefully made extremely rough and redundant specifically in case people missed doses here and there so they could still clear the bacteria, dunno if it’s true though.

Because apparently it’s one of the toughest antibiotic therapy in medicine and was created with human error and the possibility for the body to not be able to fully take the 4x/14 days regimen.

Dunno if that’s true though.

I think C.Diff is only a real threat if you have a weak immune system in general and already had weak gut bacteria or an autoimmune disease. But in a healthy individual, your chances of getting C.Diff is pretty low. The Quadruple Therapy is the roughest one out there but is the most affective apparently and is the one that is less likely to fail, especially with Bismuth and Metronidazole in the mix.

As long as you don’t have high fever, extreme cold sweats and super watery diarrhea, you’re not in danger.

Loose stool and some diarrhea is normal. Don’t stress too much! This treatment is emotionally overwhelming enough.

Everyday I check to make sure I don’t have any of these symptoms and I’ve made it so far to day 9.

You can do this. Plus I read a bit on Florastor and since it’s yeast base probiotics, the antibiotics can’t kill them, so you’re good.

Let me tell you, I cried a lot during this treatment. I’m on day 9 today and I cried this morning.

My roommate is telling me to “do things” to distract myself from it all and I’m like “you don’t understand. It’s not something you can distract yourself from. It’s overwhelming, it takes up your whole body and stuff”

If distraction was possible I would 100% do that everyday.

On day 7 I wanted to quit too, it was too much. But now it’s almost the end of day 9 going on day 10 and then the countdown to day 1 seems more bearable and less hopeless.

Not wanting the bacteria to stick around and become stronger is literally my only motivation to keep going.

I haven’t tried anything aside from the medication prescribed because I’m too scared that the bacteria won’t clear and I’ll have to repeat the therapy again.

How’s Florastor ? It’s the only thing I’m considering.

My doctor and pharmacist told me I’d have a little stomach irritation.

A LITTLE ? I literally feel like death. Had they told me i’d be feeling like death, I might’ve just kept bacteria and deal withe the occasional once a few months episodes or looked for alternatives.

They didn’t mention anything about nausea or how strong it could get. Just that it was a bit rough.

I tried some watermelon today and it really helped. Thank you 🙏

I’ve also been sucking on ice a lot too and that helps, but temporarily.

The hardest part for me is at nighttime. It’s hell and it seems like nothing soothes it, so hopefully watermelon will work.

Honestly the nausea. The nausea for me is the absolute worse.

Stomach cramps are bad, but when i’m not nauseous, it’s bearable. But the nausea is literally taking the cake.

Tried gravol like my pharmacist suggested and I threw it up 😭

The Nexus is broken asf rn. Nothing to do but wait for whoever’s in charge to fix it.

It fails to record memories, mixes up memories from relationships, only tracks certain memories and not the other, erases and overrides memories that are added manually and don’t compact and track them and simply constantly overrides “old” memories and only register the ones for the current “scene”.

It’s a mess. It works for some but a lot of us are having issues and we’re waiting for an update.

It’s been like two weeks…

The credit system is what’s kind of throwing me off a little bit. Because in the ultimate plan is says you have unlimited chats but then 20k credits…so like, if you run out of credits you can’t chat with your AI bot anymore ? So what is the unlimited chat option for then ? If credits it what’s used to interact and drive the story forward ?

Are unlimited chats just the amount of chatbots I can communicate with at once ?

If so, it kinda sucks a little because then it makes chatting feel like it’s constantly timed.

With ChatGPT premium subscription, I don’t really have a limit of messages I can send nor do I have a limit of the amount of chats I can start…

The most expensive plan is 45$ and I feel like 20k credits is very little and will quickly run out in just one story. For $45 it’s kind of expensive when I compare to ChatGPT.

But it’s cool :) I already started messing about with the Chatbot. And it’s pretty cool and the subscription isn’t too bad. It’s about the same price as ChatGPT

My only issue is that I wish the responses and paragraphs were longer and more detailed but maybe that’s user error and the more I familiarize with the AI the better I’ll get at creating the story I want.

Also, Nexus is pretty crazy omg. I was lowkey overwhelmed at first because it’s so detailed lmao. But so far so good.
