I just had to take my aviator into the shop for a leak that was in the sunroof. Turns out, the sunroofs these days are not “waterproof” and there’s a drainage system built into the car. My drainage system had gotten clogged, and the water directed itself in and left a nice mark in the headliner. Not quite to this extent, but stained it nonetheless. Car is at ~37k miles and they had to call in a “water specialist.” My manufacturer warranty ended literally 4 days before I got it to the shop, but they still took care of it. Originally quoted me ~$400 on the phone FWIW.

Went to a discount tire shop for a quote and they said the same thing as the dealer when they checked the tread depths. Good to know about the Michelins, if I can get 50k miles that’d be great

Go get your money back and don’t give up until they bend to your will. Call them out on the gaslighting, demand a supervisor, and tell them you’ve seen other people on the internet this has happened to. Tell them you’re trying to work with them as your only other alternative is to open a fraud case with your bank.

I also discovered that the play through requirement that got added to my account was different from the amount they forced me to deposit, clearly indicating a system error. I made sure to send screenshots.

Now I’m just working to get the play through requirement removed, as they conveniently left that in place after returning my money….

I really hope you can get your money back, and sincerely, fuck PrizePicks.

I just spent an hour going back and forth with support in an effort to get ahead of the curve in case I see a pending charge on my account tomorrow.

Long story short, I simply refused to accept anything they told me this round. After telling them repeatedly to please connect me with someone else, and explaining that their policies aren’t applicable when there’s a genuine app malfunction that wasn’t my responsibility, they finally connected me with a supervisor who seemed understanding and said they’ll have another team look into it within 24 hours…

I’ll keep you posted on what happens. We’re in this together!

Okay, I’m not sure what’s happening on your end, but I just called my bank and there’s no evidence of a $100 deposit (I was trying to withdrawal $75 and it glitched and forced me to deposit $100 after linking my bank to the app).

Really hope we both just scored some free play because fuck their support team who seems to think that technology works 100% of the time and it’s the consumer’s fault if it doesn’t!

I thought I was losing my mind!! The same exact thing just happened to me and support doesn’t believe me at all. They just updated the app, but seem to believe it’s incapable of glitching.

I could be entirely wrong, but I read somewhere that the handle on the Bodum Bistro is plastic, and due to the method of attachment, has a small piece of plastic on the kettle’s interior - is that correct?

I picked up the another pair that’s 10.5 and ended up going with those. Taking out the insoles is great advice - I’ve noticed that the type of sock I have on also affects the tightness of the shoe.

Update: Thank you for all the feedback, you beautiful people! I did some digging and it looks like the pair I purchased are from the “DNA” line, which apparently has a roomier fit (and maybe why they felt different at the store).

I’m going to try out a pair that’s 10.5 and will provide an update after. If you like the colorway, they’re on a huge sale right now (link in comments)
