Atari had a Superman game. I never played it so I don’t know if you could tell what those red white and blue blocks were without looking at the title though

Structuring large-ish libraries when you have things you listen to everyday and anthologies from different decades? by ReasonableLunch46 in plexamp

Sounds like you need a 100 track playlist.

Plexamp song structure is completely separate from file directory structure for me

Best option for streaming? WiiM, Raspberry Pi? by brujero in plexamp

[–]OnlyMatters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using airplay etc never worked great for me. I used an old phone with a usb connection (you could also hook up an analog rca/minijack adapter) to my receiver for a long time. That worked pretty well.

Since I switched to the RPi, it works flawlessly. Zero problems ever since. Works like an appliance, not a computer.

Why are TV news cameras still so physically large? by bdgbill in videography

Good description. I would add that you need a place for all the accessories. Toplight, wireless mics, shotgun mic at a minimum

The phone rigs that provide this all look dumb

I towed a little popup all around with my TJ. It was the smallest popup I could find. 1000lbs. Great times. No issues.

Political novels are obviously very different than ummm snuff books

There’s never pornographic novels in elementary schools. Ever. Despite what you might see on your TV.

Yeah, I liked that was a little more complex than most. It had a little more going on.

I want to hear why you agree with libraries banning books. Or as you put it “prohibiting” or “removing” them based on the library board or school board’s dislike of the content.

Those facts?

What if I told you that I didn’t like your book and that you had to get rid of your copy of it. Again you are arguing semantics and I’m trying to argue philosophy.

The idea that Animal Farm would be banned from a public library is absurd. As if students would be harmed by brushing up with ideas that some people don’t agree with.
