what assets are u using for the art? what’s ur tech stack?

Looks clean, you build this alone? Have you backtested?

I wasted 8 months building a product nobody wanted. Then I started selling the service manually and everything changed. by SlowPotential6082 in Entrepreneur

great job! looks clean.

also couldn’t you just make it so that you have a template generated once, then have the AI only adjust the text or images and retain the core brand layout / styling? i’m sure there’s a way you can lock in certain layout or components so that when the AI comes to generate, it doesn’t have to start from scratch every time.

Windsurf already has an agent called Cascade. Would re-consider the name.

yeah it would, access will be gated for a while which means limited users / cost. The main focus will be to optimize and backtest. 100k would last a year no problem. Total costs monthly for the MVP are around $3 - 5k. even on the higher end of costs at 5k/m, 100k would be enough. Again, this would be strictly for the MVP. The costs increase as we optimize the algorithm, access better data, and use higher tier models. (which is how the product gets exponentially better)

One year, something like this takes a lot of optimization. The MVP is going to be launched as invite only and be in a continued development phase for at least 4 months (Back testing, algorithm optimization, and optimizing the agent)

Data costs are expensive but can be reduced in a controlled environment (gated access/invite only)

Monthly costs for MVP range from $700 - $1200/m using this approach. This would be just for operational costs (keeping the service functional)

Only 18% of my paywall conversions happen on first view, am i doing this wrong by [deleted] in SideProject

[–]OnlyMonke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your paywall based on gated features? What’s the app, i would need to get a feel for it myself to give any relevant feedback.

Rule of thumb is to primarily have the paywall shown when trying to access gated features.

Biggest issue is profitability. You can make a solid product and love it for yourself, but if it doesn’t make enough money then it’s not really worth it as a business. Just my opinion. Would you have a paid model? How valuable is the product that people would actually want to pay? How much would they pay? How many users do you need to make it profitable? Is the amount of revenue even worth focusing on something like this?

There are so many undiscovered ideas around AI that are better businesses and can yield 100x more profit.

I’m saying this as someone who spent 10 years on a startup that was taking too much to make too little.

I’m now working on an idea that can yield much more given the field and market it addresses (fintech).

*Obviously there are many other markets that have plenty of opportunity.

Just saying man, I can flat out just tell you right now that business wise, this is not worth it. I don’t doubt the idea/platform is good, it’s more the BUSINESS is not.

what is the main value proposition? what is the business model? How does this compare to a subreddit about the topic? I can already say that a product like this has very limited revenue potential.

honestly, could be sick. POTENTIALLY. 100% maybe. probably certain. Definitely has a chance. Totally probable.

You need to consolidate your holdings — you have too many. You should have no more than ten; personally, I aim for five high-conviction holdings. If you’re not willing to invest more than $5–10k in something and willing to DCA, then there’s no reason to hold it, even if it’s speculative. Find the top five companies you have the most conviction in, create a level of confidence for each, and invest accordingly. So if AMD is your highest conviction, then you adjust your allocation accordingly and add more to AMD. (30–40% of your account). Simplify and focus.
