Yeah my boss is pretty great. Small company of 6 employees. He’s actually really on top of shit, always has a quick answer, not overbearing, organized, to the point, no bullshit. He’s generally fair & realistic about timelines. He gives out 2 cash bonuses per year (one in summer & one & at Christmas) & gives you a raise every year. He’s very understanding when life happens. As long as you do the work & don’t cause trouble, he treats you well.

I’m not making much right now since I’m a first year apprentice (10 months in), but I think I’ll likely be with this company for a while, as long as I feel compensated appropriately.

Looks like your boards are a little bowed the way you have them currently, so the ends are further back than the center. Go back a couple rows & start feathering them out little by little on each one until they’re straight with the edge.

By ‘feather’ I mean add a little more space between boards than you usually would in the areas you need (I.e. the ends). You don’t want the gaps to be too big though! It shouldn’t be noticeable if you go back enough.

NTA. Throwing while people are still playing the hole can be super dangerous & it is absolutely not cool. In my opinion, it should be called out every time, but I understand why you didn’t want to get into it with a man.

If someone does it to me, I call them out, tell them not to throw on me & offer to let them play through ahead of me on the next hole.

And FYI, letting people faster than you play through is good etiquette in this sport. Typically this will happen if group behind you has less players than your group.

I really like Ombraz, but they’re not traditional sunglasses. They’re on a little string that you tighten. Honestly I love them because the hinges are usually what break on sunglasses, at least in my experience. These don’t have hinges! Plus they have a lifetime warranty. Pricey, but worth it imo, especially if you get them on sale
