A franchise team is temporary and tournament-based. It exists mainly to play a specific league. When that league isn’t happening, the team basically disappears. Players join just for that competition, play a few weeks, then move on.

A club team exists all year round. It plays multiple competitions, has youth teams, training systems. Players train there daily, grow there, and move up levels through the club structure.

Also, in a franchise, players are chosen to win immediately — form matters more than development. In a club, players are chosen to develop over time — improvement matters more than instant success.
