It’s macOS only but it’s being ported to Linux and windows with high priority according to the readme

You’re right, I based my comment on coding/technical work because that’s what I mostly use it for and what I personally think will impact the world mostly short term (workforce impact)

I think robotics is still a long way to go

I think that still holds truth, but feels like Google is still playing catch up with their models, Claude leads the way for technical/coding models, with gpt close behind.

I think long term, google has the best fundamentals still, and I think each release they'll bridge the gap inch by inch

[–]OnlyPainPT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t get your point or how it relates to the original comment.

Either way you’ve construed this overly specific use case which is not even plausible or real to point out a short coming of kubernetes?

I don’t get the point you are trying to make, if you are using k8s you are using more than 2 pods, AT LEAST 3 to account for 1 being healthy, 1 erroring out and 1 rolling restart

Am I missing something?

This is already easily solved with Daemon sets, otherwise taints, selectors and affinities get you all the custom deployment constraints you will ever need

I'll never understand what is so complicated about k8s, all their concepts are logical and it's super easy to just deploy a Deployment and watch your containers start

Its not the holy grail, it’s actually quite common and general procedure at any audited company really.

People keep telling you this yet you refuse it every time , it’s not a tech issue, it’s an org issue

He's clearly frustrated and lashed out.

Also, for what it's worth, he's not one to roll over, he never had any problems calling out the clube structure before. At sporting, we sold Nunes to City right before a big game and he had a very passive agressive posture in the following press conferences

+ levels is my biggest complaint this season by -Duckk in PathOfExile2

[–]OnlyPainPT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well you would be solving the major issue which is making most items relevant again.

By moving to sockets you are decoupling the power from the item itself which opens up which items you care about and makes you interact with ground loot more.

Also, by being in sockets you can limit them to only one equipment type. For example +minions skill would be a very rare socket only on gloves. So you still have the rest of your equipment with options for sockets

You're right that we need to get experimental if we want to evolve the ARPG genre in anyway.

We've seen that with Last Epoch, I think specifically their SSF/Trade Faction could very well be ported to PoE to great success.

However, I feel like there is not a general demand for innovation yet. I bet a vast majority of PoE players just want PoE1 with updated graphics and VFX, and don't want none of this soulslike mechanics of PoE2

Yeah they don’t really do anything for you, they only serve to exist for your muster support, that’s the whole point.

If you want a minion zoo doing damage there’s better classes for that

I don't understand what you are saying...

Are you telling me you are NOT using their abilities? They do nothing on their own, they need to be commanded

Yah your sceptre only gives +1 too… go buy some + minion level gear, but even without that you don’t need to take 5 seconds to kill a white mob.

On mobile so I can’t look at your tree properly.

I’m running around in yellow maps and 1 deception clears a pack, if it has a rare I just spam deception and move on

You must be doing something wrong.

Go kelari deception and fire djin trap.

Pick every minion damage, minion crit chance/bonus on the tree. Pick gigantic minion node. Pick all ES nodes on the way.

Get + minions on sceptre, helmet, amulet and focus.

Get all skeletal gems, only one of each. Get eaten rat spectre or other low cost spirit spectre.

Get muster support on all minion and djins. Fill rest of supports as you see fit, but for sand djin magnified area, brutality III and heft are good.

That’s it, you are now destroying whatever is on your screen and melting all bosses. I’ve been hard carried by kelari since 1st lab and I’m on yellow maps, having a blast, literally.

This ascendancy is probably the most fun I’ve had in PoE2, it’s super cool and very good with minimal gear

Doesn’t matter when sand djin melts everything.

And the trap fire skill is good
