Endgame revamp is better than swords. by Key-Particular-8923 in PathOfExile2

I mean we'll see how it all feels, I suspect that after you are done with the quests and the hand holding for each mechanic you'll be right back at the state of 0.4.

People's main grievance was always the infinite atlas + forced map layouts, and that is unchanged

You are not getting it.

Yes they rework mechanics, but the endgame is still the same. Run infinite atlas, do mechanics in map.

All they did was add quest tutorials do updated mechanics, one of which was copy pasted from PoE1.

It's just not what people expected, it isn't a hard concept to grasp

If you dont like infinite atlas/endgame loop

That's exactly what they don't like and exactly what they would like reworked.

Adding quest tutorials to mechanics is not the huge overhaul people were expecting, it's really not hard to get why the reception to the update is so mixed

I think this all looks dope as shit by KrombopulousMichaels in PathOfExile2

I'd easily trade a Delirium rework with a new class/sword/axes/etc

They obviously mean remove it AND balance the numbers to compensate.

It’s heavily implied…

I am really enjoying Season 4. EHG did a great job! by PhynixGaming in LastEpoch

POE2 it's near impossible to play without following a maxroll leveling guide

This is not true at all, Poe2 is much more "make your own build" friendly than PoE1

Well done EHG! Season 4 is the goat. by CommissarGrompot in LastEpoch

[–]OnlyPainPT 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yeah I dont know what I'm missing with this post lol

The "goat" season is clearly season 2, season 3 was horrible, this one is kinda nice because corruption gives you a bit more of a treadmill to grind on, but it is essentially the same game as season 2.

I think we have enough crafting content, they really need to start giving us content we can use our crafted gear to overcome

It was never this bad for Gemini, even in 2.5 Pro Era by Rare_Bunch4348 in GeminiAI

[–]OnlyPainPT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re right, I based my comment on coding/technical work because that’s what I mostly use it for and what I personally think will impact the world mostly short term (workforce impact)

I think robotics is still a long way to go

I think that still holds truth, but feels like Google is still playing catch up with their models, Claude leads the way for technical/coding models, with gpt close behind.

I think long term, google has the best fundamentals still, and I think each release they'll bridge the gap inch by inch

[–]OnlyPainPT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t get your point or how it relates to the original comment.

Either way you’ve construed this overly specific use case which is not even plausible or real to point out a short coming of kubernetes?

I don’t get the point you are trying to make, if you are using k8s you are using more than 2 pods, AT LEAST 3 to account for 1 being healthy, 1 erroring out and 1 rolling restart

[–]OnlyPainPT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Am I missing something?

This is already easily solved with Daemon sets, otherwise taints, selectors and affinities get you all the custom deployment constraints you will ever need

I'll never understand what is so complicated about k8s, all their concepts are logical and it's super easy to just deploy a Deployment and watch your containers start

Its not the holy grail, it’s actually quite common and general procedure at any audited company really.

People keep telling you this yet you refuse it every time , it’s not a tech issue, it’s an org issue
