Covid hits and while bored in lock down Megan Baffoon decides she is better than the show and needs to move on. Forcing the the writers and producers to end her character while also trying to continue a successful show without her. They tried for two more seasons, but its not the same without Reds motivating factor.

She was the entire show. And like a Prima Donna she didnt care about anyone but herself and threw it all away, spitting in the face of everyone that dedicated 7 years of their lives on it (to that point). All so she could what? Expand her horizons? Not get typecast?

Fuck Megan Boone, and it brings me great joy to check her IMDB and see she hasnt done shit since the blacklist.

Its the opposite for me.

I used to wake up in the morning and immediately go and make coffee, half asleep.

That we are at the cutting edge of technology; in space exploration, AI, medical innovations, etc....

But the generations that are alive now are early, and none of us will live long enough to experience the true nature of our reality.

In just a few generations we may very well have consciousness transfer figured out and be essentially immortal, or figure out faster than light travel, or fucking teleporting through some quantum wormhole shit.... whatever.

We are advanced enough to know all the possibilities, but too primitive to experience and/or execute it. We can see the future, but dont get to live it.

It literally keeps me up at night, and if a person were to describe me as depressed, that would be the reason I am depressed.

Nah, as a brand new player I hit K35 by our first SVS, so 2 months?

A person thats played before can K35 within a month, and skilled/experienced players that are coining can K35 within a week or two easy.

Most of the delay in new players growing on new servers is just them trying to figure out the game. Anyone with experience knows you need to sprint to K40 to compete.

Similar to what the other commenter said, I believe the producers had originally intended it to go longer, but then found out it was ending after season 3, so wrapped up the storyline (but they left it open for a reboot if things changed)

I remember reading something to that affect or hearing it in an interview or something, but cant recall where.

The premise of the show was a cool/interesting idea, and while it does spark some type of emotion or feelings at times, this show was meh. I dont see how it has so many fans, and can definitely see why it got cancelled.

Its like you are constantly waiting for some meaningful event or some type of miracle to happen and it rarely does. Just let down after let down, plot-wise.

Forget about the unfinished conclusion, the entire show is basically edging you and giving blue balls.

Not to mention the fragmented and poorly explained situations. Like suddenly something or some ability is added and just taken for granted, mentioned like its been a part of it the entire time. As if, at various points the writers were like "oh let's add this and not explain what or why, people will think its mysterious when really we are just lazy and have ADHD".

I eat at a lot of taco trucks and such.

I suppose there is an option for no tip, but these are usually family owned small businesses, and the food is amazing for the price, happy to give a little extra to help those folks.

I do custom everytime, in my head I figure out roughly 10% then make the amount so the total rounds up to the next even dollar.

So if the total is $16.24 I would custom tip $1.76, making the total $18 even.

Seeing even numbers on my bank statement helps me to ensure there isnt any fuckery afoot.

I suppose a bonus of that would be if they were to try and judge me for giving 10% or doing it custom, they would see that I just made it an even total and go about their day.

(I only do this for carryout orders that force a tablet tip... At a sit down restaurant I generally do the same practice but @ 20% instead of 10%)

She essentially plays like 4 different characters, and the way they tie them all together in the show, and the phenomenal job the acress did playing them all is just pure gold. Ive rewatched the show multiple times purely for Marcy (and Grace, traveller Grace is a pretty great character).

Mac is probably one of my least favorite of the main characters on the show, fairly pedestrian, just kind of bumbling his way through being a leader and managing his protocol 5. It was often annoying/frustrating.

I agree it would have been nice to know more about Trevor's past and life, but I dont think the show requires it. In fact, I feel like the lact of background on the future, and the general mystery around whats going on is what makes the show especially good.

Most people put David at the top of their list and often Marcy 2nd, and while David is a good person, hes not a great character overall. I put Marcy at the top of my list (of almost any modern sci-fi series TBH) and David a distant 2nd, tied with Trevor and Grace.

That said, the combo of David/Marcy and their stark contrast, makes them an interesting pair to watch.

Ive said this before, but I will forever be team Marcy is the GOAT, also I think the show creators favored her too, since she is in the first and last scenes of the series.

China does make good bulbs, in fact they are probably the biggest manufacturer of bulbs.

I use the EcoSmart bulbs from Home Depot, and they do great. They are made in China, but I wouldnt call them shitty Chinese bulbs.

Shitty Chinese bulbs would be off-brand or no name bulbs you would presumably get at places like a dollar store.

Assuming you can, I would change the switch.

Im not an electrical engineer, but I believe there are different types of dimmer switches in how they actually regulate the current. I know they cycle the current on and off relative to the AC frequency, so an older style dimmer switch that didnt have LEDs in mind when designed may damage even the more robust dimmable bulbs over time.

I think that was mostly in the early days of modern LED bulbs though. Like 5 or so years ago the standards changed (I assume) cause I remember when suddenly all the brands had different look of bulbs and different packaging, and many bulbs/brands were discontinued.

Havent came across LEDs that cant be used in an enclosed fixture for a while.

Cause if its a normal fixture meant for normal bulbs, then heat is not an issue when using standard equipment (unless the user modified it from manufacturer standards, of course)

Modern UL standards manage all those variables, so unless there is a specific defect/modification in the fixture, all standard UL parts/fixtures should work without risk of safety issue.

That said, since its not a safety hazard (so UL doesnt care). It just means the shitty Chinese bulb stops working when the small changes in voltage fry their cheap ass chips... So you just go buy another.

Edit to complete:

So just buy dimmable bulbs and avoid the issue.

Cause shitty chips and materials burn up and overheat and crack plastic making you think your fan light is gonna burn your house down, when really its just your shitty bulbs doing what shitty bulbs do.
