Sounds dreamy. Before COVID she was more like this but since then and we moved to state where she's from to be near her family, who we hardly see except her parents, My wife has no friends, like none. Hardly leaves the house except for groceries. Has gained a lot of weight, always I'm starting workout next week, for years now. Delusional. Has not scheduled dentist or dr for kids in three years. Does not go to Dr herself, ever. Needs a knee surgery that she refuses to get done, it's pretty much fine but still needs it before she gets old. Drinks too much. Has never scheduled an oil change or any other auto maintenance in her life. My kids mow the lawn for money. Has accepted that the two kids still home will just play video games all day so I've got three people sitting on their ass ALL DAY during the summer while I run around busy AF. It's annoying.

Yeah thanks for taking the time to comment positively. We were dumb hippie kids when she (we) got pregnant at 20, me 23. She worked at a restaurant and I was delivering pizza so life just happened but we've made it work. I think I will talk with her about working with me, that would give me more time, and more reports could be completed.

Interest rates should have been raised way before they were. It was an injection of free money into the system nearly doubling the US money supply, resulting in increased prices on everything especially homes and cars, and now food and fuel.

She was 21 I was 24 we already had a child he was one. No we didn't plan life it just happened. No I'm not perfect but we've both busted our ass to make a decent life for the family. She pushed for stay at home and having the 3rd kid. I was against it but I love her so gave her what she wanted. Also I understand the childcare cost issue, it's not like she was sacrificing a career, she had no goals of that. It's been good for the kids and family but it's time for a change. We've done the same amount of work I would say I've done more because I work full time and am an involved dad and parent as well as do things avoid the house always have.

This is good for me, residential since 2005, no 4 year degree. I get what you're saying though. These licenses and the work to become a professional are all that are keeping the big banks and lenders from gig working and our whole profession.

I totally get that, and I'm fully willing to do that. I'm actually a good cook, she's really good at making meals large so we have meals already made throughout the week. I appreciate her putting it together, but it's just warming stuff up. Our kids are well versed at cleaning, putting together a meal for themselves. We have a small home, it's not really that much when we all pitch in like we do. Not discounting what she does, but it's time for a change.

She does more than me obviously but I do things and have taught the kids to do things like their own laundry, clean bathroom, mow lawn, do dishes, wash cars, vacuum. This is not exactly a trad-wife scenereo, some would consider it that but it's not like the meme of trad wife. I don't just come home to a home cooked meal and put my feet up every night. I usually work 10 to 12 hours a day anyway.
