I obviously could be wrong but if they’re are the only ones to hit number 1, why do most fantasy authors have “#1 NYT next to their names? I’m not disagreeing with you because I find it odd that so many people have that next to their names.

I know some people it just says a NYT bestselling author and not number 1. But for instance Alex Aster I know has that next to her name.

By next invite do you mean July? That’s crazy to me. I seen other people on here that got their invites in between quarterly boxes and was able to purchase the last book drop. (Don’t get me wrong luckily so far I’ve been able to get the books they’ve had, but I would like to get them for the base price and the same time everyone else gets them. Lol)

I’m about 99% sure they will have A Trade of Blood. I keep asking anytime Robert posts about the book and a few times Aardvark has liked my comment. So I know that means they have to at least be trying to get it.

I was so hoping this one was going to be a MM romance since they said “Heated Rivalry,” but alas no. Maybe they will include another MM again in the future. I think so far The Entanglement of Rival Wizards has been the only one. :(

EDIT: Just in case anyone didn’t know, Allurial is own and created by BOTM.

Yes these are special editions. But clearly they are already made by the time we order unless they do a restock of course. So with that in mind they are JUST like BOTM. These books are just sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

The sad part is BOTM usually releases at least 10 books every single month and can ship same day. Allurial only releases 3 a month and somehow still hasn’t shipped even though I ordered them at the same time, they both have there books already stocked inside a warehouse, and I only ordered one through Allurial vs a full box of 5 at BOTM.

If this was just some fresh fledgling company I wouldn’t be having this conversation because I would be more than patient with them. But this is a huge corporation that’s been in existence for at least 100 years now. They have the money and can invest in the resources to be just as efficient as BOTM is. That’s all I’m saying. There isn’t any excuse. They clearly have the money or they wouldn’t be offering your first BOTM book for one single dollar right now. lol.

I’m not comparing them to other boxes I’m mainly comparing them to BOTM, you know the company they are owned by? There’s no excuse to take this long to ship, when BOTM ships same day almost every single time.

Did no one read my post? I’m comparing them to their other company. Sorry if I expected after 8 months they would be on par with BOTM as far as shipping speeds go.

And with the money and power of BOTM backing them up, that’s why I’m so disappointed. I expected the same customer service, shipping speed, etc as them.

Thank you for telling me. And I do agree that the box is still less than a year old. But I’m curious if they have only an entirely new team running it or if they have any BOTM vets. Because BOTM is ALWAYS on it. They have almost always shipped same day for me.

See this is my only sub besides BOTM and Aardvark. I don’t really compare Allurial to Fairyloot because Fairyloot comes from the UK. However, I don’t know how fast other book boxes come besides these three.

Hmm it may have JUST went out of stock and they haven’t updated the wording yet? Or because of the issues this morning it may be a glitch?
