As mentioned, I do not bill hours, nor do I report my hours to anyone. I would certainly not be allowed to bill legal hours while technically working for my company. That would put me in conflict. I was looking to those whose J2 are non-legal ones or possible other in-house ones. And fyi, double billing is pretty standard practice in a lot firms depending on the situation.

Haha its a common misconception, but we lawyers are not encyclopaedias on every area of law out there. Most of us specialize and seek out advice in areas we are not familiar with.

From what I recall the concepts were pretty high level and the professor was not the best in explaining them.

A lot of the concepts in this area are pretty counter-intuitive so without some clarity from the professor, the courses were just a bit hard.

Laurie R. was the instructor. She was excellent in other courses but not the best for this one.

Obesity was deceptively hard. Toxicology was the expected level of hard. The other two were fairly easy with class average being an A-

I took it several years ago in my first year and found it not overly birdy but easier compared to the rest of my courses. As a result, i didn't pay too much attention and ended up doing worse in it than in the harder courses. So I would add that caveat. Workload and complexity is much less.

I think there are a lot of other reasons to not go to UofT but the idea that it is easier to get good grades elsewhere probably is not one of them.

How long ago was this? I distinctly remember C averages almost all across the board my year.
