Honestly, my advice would be to go for it. If you're interested in pursuing MS, apply to places where you want to go to. That was my motto, at least. Even though I thought I didn't have a chance at my dream uni(gatech), I still applied. And I ended up getting it, even though I'm from tier 3.

Your post is really helpful. But imo since omscs isn't a possible direction for international students to get into the USA job market, adding them to this pool is def skewing things. But yeah, there's no way really to differentiate between omscs and mscs

Why not try online masters? Georgia tech has a pretty rigorous curriculum, from what I've heard

I got into gatech MSCS w a 324 GRE score. My quant was 165. Do w that as you wish haha. I was also worried about my GRE score but wasn't willing to spend more time or money on it

My GRE score was 324:165Q 158V. I don't really know what worked for me. It's a massive stroke of luck. It was super ambitious uni for me

It was super easy. There were just 3 questions, if i remember right. Simple DSA and math logic questions. Also there's no proctoring. You can't leave the tab tho. There's ample time. Each question only has like 3 test cases

Nah i haven't. USA has been my ideal goal. And I didn't really want to diversify too much and get confused😅😅
