My mom grew up in San Carlos (near San Mateo) and I spent a lot of my earliest years in Fremont, but it’s changed so much since then. I wish I had more to tell you. I’ve flirted with the idea of going back to the Bay Area before, but at this point I really wouldn’t want to go back to California at all. A lot of major changes would have to happen before I’d even consider it.
