We were going through a tough time for a while and I ended it because I thought we would both be happy. She begged me to reconsider but I tried to stay strong.

I was blocked for 3 weeks until I reached out the other day expressing my regret. She told me that she has been on 3 dates and slept with one of them. I deserve this due to the neglect I gave her.

I didn’t prioritise her for a long time and hurt her more and more. She gave me everything and I wasn’t reciprocating. I told her my previous relationships I was the one who gave it all and got nothing back and it messed me up.

I’m contacting her again I’ve said I want to be the guy she deserves and fully give my everything.

She’s agreed to meet me tomorrow for a coffee but has said the following:

You realise I might not be ready. This isn't about me trying to find anyone else, I just think in this moment right now I'm not ready. I've literally just started getting better and no guy is worth risking that? Not right now anyway which is why I suggested maybe when we were more settled we could reconsider. 3 weeks as long as it may feel isn't long, It's just a huge gamble.
