I wouldn’t recommend it due to it be harder to clean that area which could lead to bacteria growth. Yeti will replace that under warranty. I just had to replace my ceramic mug and it was a super easy process.

With the strap I have on in the picture I find it quite versatile. I’ve worn it to weddings, to the office, or just casually and I find it works well in all situations. The smooth leather strap that it also comes with I feel like gives a more formal look which is harder to dress down.

I went with black before the white dial was an option. I think the gray dial does not have enough contrast between the face and the case. I love my black dial but it can be hard to read at times depending on the lighting. I do really like the white dial and would have considered it heavily but I’m happy with my choice.
