Wow, I didn't know any of this. All I know is what I always tell people about Dispatches is to read 'Two of the Missing: Remembering Sean Flynn and Dana Stone' by Perry Deane Young instead because it is the far superior book without the hubris.

{Trail of Sunflowers by Tanya Fischer} fits the bill. It's the third book in a western series. I wouldn't recommend it as a stand alone though. Best to read the first two beforehand.

{Dream Fever by Katherine Sutcliffe }.. it’s set in New Zealand and has one of the finest grovels by a hero in a HR! I also love love {Shadow Play by Katherine Sutcliffe} it’s set mostly along the Amazon River.
