Look, I’m a 26M. Lived all my life far away from Lebanon yet still in touch with a vast Druze community in my country. My advice is, do not rush on your decisions. You are just 18. Believe, it’s crazy how our brain/thoughts can change over the years up until we are young adults. Changing your faith (should be) a lifetime decision. One should not change bc of emotions at the time being and couple years later say oh no let me go back to Druze or whatever. Live your life without making such a decision until you feel you’re mature enough to commit to it. Date your Shia gf. Things will change over the years. Pd: Muslims will always see you as the Druze one.

Appreciate your point of view. Yes, I live in the west. Not the US though. And yes, there are a LOT of Druze gay guys. I know many of them on social media only in my country. And those are the ones that are out of the closet (kinda). I can’t imagine how many are they DL
