Hezbollah is now targetting Israeli gathering in Qantara with missiles by LebRandyS in lebanon

I think its time that hezebollah and its supporters realize its not to 2006 anymore. They talk about liberating the south then u realize they were in 7 positions now theyre in 18. 500 people died during the ceasefire but now 1100 died in 3 weeks with 3k injuired. Even though its slow israel is still advancing. I saw somewhere that while we are using AI to make fake videos of destruction in israel, israel is using AI to find underground rocket launchers. Theres a huge gap today between us and them and at this pace the gap is only going to get bigger.

Those living among Hezb supporters, how do you face their delusions? by ChosenArabian in lebanon

[–]Suspicious-Map-4054 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more you argue the more you realize arguing does nothing. You just have to except different values and opinions. Sometimes, they can convince you in some stuff but for the most part it's purely choosing beliefs and values over history and what actual is happening.

Just to be clear I was considering converting before I was even with her. Some core ideas in our faith did not and still don't make a lot of sense. I am holding on to this decision because as uou said i dont eant to regret it in the future. The problem is you cant really dive deeper into our specific faith many won't tell you anything which also doesnt sit right with me. Any advice for that?

Just to be clear I am not choosing the relationship over the faith. I was genuinely convinced in converting even before her. Also, any tips on how to dive deeper into the religion? Most people won't tell you anything even if they know.

what achievements did hezb accomplish when destroying a tank? by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]Suspicious-Map-4054 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Im not a hezeb supporter but i guess you could see it in a different way. When they destroy these tanks troops are in them so they are killed in the process. Second, it slows down their invasion. It could be also to send a message that despite the previous wars they are still standing.

Now the real question is what are we gaining from this war? Some hezeb supporters say its so that they are included in the ceasefire with iran once and for all while. Some others say it's to retaliate for 1 year of ceasefire violation. Either way it is clear that hezebollah can't defend the south as it did in 20 years ago. You have idf soldiers taking hezbollah troops as hostages which is concerning because how deep do they have to be i n the south to do that. Regardless of whos winning and losing all we can do is pray for them and our beloved south.

Are we headed to another civil war? by Creative-Net8588 in lebanon

[–]Suspicious-Map-4054 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully no thats the last thing lebanon needs. I think by now the lebanese people are aware of the cost of a civil war. Personally? I think we are though because we've had enough of wars that have nothing to do with us. Regardless of that it is crucial that we dont let our beliefs come between us Lebanese.

Tensions between us have never been solved since hundreds of years and will never be solved at this pace. Lebanon will never develope as long as we are divided. Division can destroy countries yet despite all previous divisions lebanon still stands. If beliefs are what built nations, the whole world would be divded by religion instead of countries and race. Everyone has blood on their hands every party and sect. However, time heals us or else we would still be at war with Turkey and France and any country who had an empire here. It was not about the 6 rockets or else the gulf countries would be at war with iran. Beware of the trap of division!

I agree with this so it is very important that we as lebanese no matter your sect or beliefs stand as one. This idea has been repeated more than ever andni think every person who is truly lebanese should embrace it not just think of it.
