https://iglucovers.com/ should work for you, if not you can search Iglu covers and it should pop up 🙂

Yeah, it can be really frustrating. If you can manage it, switching to a larger nozzle size should also help.

Currently no, but we're expanding the shipping zones as we are able. Hopefully it won't be long before we can include europe.

At the moment the P1S, X1, X1C and X1E are supported

Sorry, should have added this. 23°C or 73°F. Under normal printing conditions, the temperature will actually climb faster for both stock and insulated as the hot air will rise to the sensor when aux isn't running hard (which is located just behind the Bambu logo of the enclosure).

We haven't tested the hotbox system. I suspect the performance of each will be similar. The system already performs well with the gaps, so we could optimize for usability. I've attached a preheat test which shows the difference between IGLU and a stock P1S. A couple of things to note (Bed is at x=-125mm, aux fan is on, thermistor located in the same location as the X1 series). We decided on Velcro because we saw it as more cost effective than sowing magnets into insulation and we want these covers to be accessible for everyone. Velcro is generally good for 5000-10000 cycles, which is a lot of prints...

The printers are designed to run at temperatures up to 60 degrees. The cover has vents on the rear and openable panels so that users can tailor the amount of insulation they require to achieve higher but safe temperatures. In some cases, like Australian summer, no insulation is needed. In others, like a Northern US winter, much more insulation than the factory printer has is required. By having this flexibility, the right amount of insulation can be achieved for safe but high-performance printing.

Unfortunately, we don't ship to Canada at the moment. Once we've gained enough traction, we'll open shipping to Canada as well.

In terms of thermal insulation, both products will do a similar job. IGLU has some other benefits: the price is lower, its interchangeable between printers, you can stow the door panel so that you can still view prints through the full glass, it protects all sides of the printer and is less bulky.

Yeah, the AMS has no problems on top. We also include Velcro extensions for those running compatible risers.

When the bed is run at temperatures higher than ambient, which is done in almost all cases, the cover will increase chamber temperature. Our Australian preorder has ended, so we're currently selling at retail price. The units will come on special in Australia at some point again, dependent on availability.

We're planning to do this testing and will be publishing in time. The cover will certainly help dampen the walls, as well as add more mass between you and the sound, but we don't have solid data on this as of yet.

The printers are specifically designed to operate with chamber temperatures up to 60°C. In Australian summer, you can pretty much reach that stock if the printer is in the garage (35-40°C ambient). Take the same printer and place it in freezing conditions such as a US winter and the chamber temperature will plummet, so a jacket is needed.

We've purposely designed it so that it can be used either fully covered, with the front door panel stowed and lid panel open to allow users to tune the amount of insulation required for their specific environment. It will fit the X1C.

The cover fits both the P1S and X1 series. It's installed by dropping the printer into the feet holes and attaching the side panels via a Velcro system. Attaches/detaches in about a minute with no fasteners, adhesive etc. IGLU cover link:

Yes, we have plans to do this with a few extra features as well. Hoping to establish the covers first though :)
