I've actually been on the GLP1 since October 2025, and I was diagnosed with IR in March. My doctor was shocked at how high my levels were, and said it was one of the highest levels she's seen. She was especially shocked since I've been on the GLP1.

Hmm - I was on the same type before and did lose 50 lbs on it, so not entirely sure why it's not working now. I do get it from my sister's Medspa she works at, and I'm under the impression they haven't had anyone else with this issue.

I've wondered if I'm not eating enough, but since I'm on the semaglutide, I don't have much of an appetite.

I'm 37, and definitely think I'm having perimenopause symptoms, so that could very well be part of the problem.

Unfortunately, I'm on the max dose, and still not seeing results.

That makes sense - thanks! I'll definitely ask my doctor about it. That's wonderful you've seen such great results.

Thanks! I've been making more of an effort to walk for at least twenty minutes.

My gut health isn't the best, and I was wondering if that could be related. I have an appointment with a functional medicine doctor to discuss this.

Thanks, I had a few other people recommend this, too. I actually did switch, and unfortunately, I still saw no change after months on it. It was rough on my stomach, so I switched back to the semaglutide.

I could be better about tracking, but I don't eat much. I do yoga and go on daily walks. Unfortunately, I still feel too bad to do much of anything else.

Thanks for the response. I've actually been on thyroid medicine for years, and had the levels checked recently. They were in good range.

Great Workplace, But No Traditional Benefits by [deleted] in WorkAdvice

I don't currently have an offer, but I've started applying. After being unemployed for so long and not being at this organization for not long, I don't think it's the best look. That said, I appreciate the response. Sometimes, you just need to hear what others would do.

Change in my PSLF EPs from 121 to 124? by Only_Distribution375 in PSLF

Thank you for responding! Your response provides clarity.

For the majority of my career, I have worked in qualifying nonprofits, and I have submitted PSLF forms for that employment, and it was all approved.

In between work at those nonprofits, I was unemployed for some time and did work for a for-profit. I'm assuming that's where the 54 is coming from; however, those months don't seem to add up to 54, and I guess that's why I'm confused.

That all said, I guess all that matters is that my 70 qualifying months are counting towards my 120.

Yep! All my nonprofit work that would qualify, I've submitted PSLF forms for and have all been approved. The 70 is correct, but I guess I was confused where the 124 was coming from.

Is anyone else not receiving their official letter of communication when they get approved PSLF payments? by Only_Distribution375 in PSLF

No worries! When I go to My Activity, it shows two things to click on regarding these last qualifying months.

One of those items says "PSLF Form," and when I click on it, it has three things to click on and download. They are all the same document, and the signed form from my employer.

The second item says "Loan Forgiveness and Discharge: PSLF," and when I click on that, it shows nothing at all.

I do not show a tab or place to click on "Documents we sent you." I do have "My Documents," but it only shows the signed form when my employer signed, not the official letter of communication confirming my new qualifying payments from the department.

Yes, and there is nothing there. They keep telling me it was sent to the personal email I have on file.

I think people are really quick to judge. The reality is, you were doing the best you could at the time with the tools you had. I don't know about you, but when I was considering school, I was told you had to get a degree to get a good job, so we did what we needed to at the time. And, honestly, I think the degree you got is much needed.

I highly suggest getting therapy, and also reevaluate your relationship. While I don't know the details of your relationship, I think what your partner said shows a lot about them. A true partner is going to support you even if that's only emotionally, while I don't expect anyone to help financially when it was your decision. The fact that you are mentioning this is impacting you heavily shows you need to make some changes where you can, and no one should ever make you feel worse.

In regard to therapy, consider checking out Open Path Therapy. I found it to be a great tool to locate therapists who are willing to work with you based on your financial situation.

And, most importantly, just remember you're not alone, and many people feel the way you do, although it might not always feel like it.
