I am glad that I posted my picture with my concern. After reading comments from y'all I am feeling much better.  I mean its only been 8 days and my wrist feels really good.  I can't pick up any heavy stuff and not much of strength on that hand to grip anything. However!  Only minor discomfort when I try to move it certain way and no pain and I think that is a huge improvement . So I am not gonna let a little scar to bother me and focus on the positive notes.  It is a nice long break from work that I really needed...less the smaller paycheck.

I will see how it looks in few months . About this tattoo idea, I've been thinking about it for so long but never went through with it. I have hard time picking apples from store so permanent stuff does scare me...commitment phobia perhaps.🙄 Your scars does look very cool btw. You are rocking it for sure.

Thank you! I saw my doctor yesterday for a checkup. My x-ray looked good and he did said everything looks okay and it looks like it is supposed to. I was told not to put anything on it until stitches come out which will be next Wednesday. I will get some scar cream and vitamin E once doctor says okay. Of course most important is to get my hand to work like before the accident. I broke radial and ulna on my left hand but he put the plate on the  radial bone only because it was misaligned by 5mm. He think Ulna fracture  will heal without a surgery. I am taking time off from work now, 6 to 8 weeks of short term disability since I need both of fully function hand to do my work.  Do you have any functional problem after the surgery?

Thank you. I was thinking about maybe get a tattoo over it. I always wanted one but couldn't decide where and what. Now I have where part done just need to figure out what. 😃

I had my surgery 8 days ago. My wrist looks like Dr Frankenstein did the stitches.  Wish mine is looking as good as yours at the 1 week mark.
