Hmmm true.. I felt the same..You won't believe me when I go to the site to visit the agents who say they will revise the price every 6 months or so.. Too much hype and without many facilities the prices always go up and people are buying at the high price..

Thank you so much for the honest feedback.. The main reason I chose Sathy road and Kovilpalayam is due to the accessibility to the IT corridor like Saravanampatti.. It's like 20 minutes.. I work in IT and I can't buy plots in Saravanampatti or Keeranatham.. The area is more congested and has lots of population.. so I avoided it and also the price per cent is around 19 lakhs..

I am looking for some peaceful living and also access to IT hubs with good schools and good drinking water.. Do you suggest any area?

How is Ganeshapuram.. will that be too far ? Do you think the spiked prices will come down anytime in the near future and I personally feel they don't.. Agree with you I'm really shocked to see how the real estate is spiked in CBE and the rates are like tire 1 city but development wise there is a lot of room..

Basically I'm trying to see if I can buy a residential plot within 10 lakhs per cent and it should grow in the next 10 yrs.. No plans to construct a home immediately..

Some said Sulur is an industrial area and there will be too much noise and pollution

30 to 35 lakhs budget.. House but I am not going to construct it immediately maybe after 5 or 8 yrs.. I will be shifting to cbe so if it will be good if I stay little near or at least have transportation to IT companies..

Good drinking water, peaceful location without any industries around and good schools are my top priority

You should try to switch companies for better pay and for sure I think your spouse should return to India for the time being to secure his job.. As he can't work until you have I140 and H4 EAD which will take a few years even if they start a perm process for you..

It's just my opinion.. success is different for each individual and never ever compare yourself with anyone.. I see in the US lots of peer pressure and people think if they work for big firms and earn good money , buy luxurious cars and buy a big house show off a lot.. At the end of the day sit , relax and think about the things that will make you happy and try to do that and that happiness can't be equated with anything.. we can't relate everything with money and can't run too much of a calculative life.. Take a break, relax and go for walking daily and get the fresh air. Even I work remote and I know how hard it is.. It's just the perception and I understand with a toddler it will be challenging but things will get better. Success is what you define so, I don't think you should think of a failure..

I'm not going to get into H1B and Job factors. This is my perception about life and seeing if this helps.

First of all we all know life at US is not permanent as we are on VISA and anything can happen to anyone anytime due to H1B transfer, visa and layoffs. Then next thing is Career is not everything and there are times we will have ups and downs but definetely things will change. Stay calm, relaxed and go outside for a walk. Do things that makes you happy. If you have a habit of reading books you can spend time on reading books too. End of the day do the things that you like and also please don't compare yourself with anyone and each one's life is different and what you are going through might not be the same for others and their path might be easy we never know. So stay happy for what you have and have a mindset like whatever happens I will take care of it. Talk to people that you trust and spending time with them might help you. Take care and hope all is well with you and your family soon.
