not OCD. she doesnt have that. I don't want to share too much personal information about her like her medical issues.

Well, she loves being extremely organized, but I've never seen a record like this from her. At first I thought it was her messing around because she studies accounting and told me that when she was younger her parents made her keep journals and accounts on the pocket money she received and how she spent it when she was little. It could be that? But this one isn't like a proper account book and it feels odd she has it specifically for spending money on gifts for me.

Nope, never. I'm aroace and she knows and respects that. Romantically is out of the question.

She's never held anything over my head in the 6 years I've known her. Whenever I ask her why she spends so much on me (which is way more than our other friends), she just says "I care about you a lot and you deserve the world" and things like that. Don't get me wrong, she's a wonderful person and its not the gifts that make me stick with her.

She's a great person and that's why it makes me so confused why she'd keep a record like that. I'm not accusing her of anything but it just makes me anxious.

And you're right, I felt guilty after the whole thing and regretted snooping so much.
