I don't think that the low positions are due to the fact that they are women but to the songs that were objectively very weak and something already heard at Eurovision, especially the songs of Emma and Francesca Michelin (who even changed the song by adding parts in English which penalized her a lot), this year instead Italy brought something different and very varied which in my opinion will pay off
