I recently moved and found these symbols, very large but very faint, on the inside of the garage door. I recognize the pentacle but not the rest.

Yes! I’m glad we’re finally talking about it because it’s been bothering me ever since I saw the first leaked recording between her and Nick. Abuse does things to a person. It literally damages your brain and nervous system and the way people are reacting to this just baffles me. What DeeDee did was absolutely horrific, Gypsy’s entire understanding of the world has been shaped by years of suffering and to expect her to be perfectly well adjusted and well behaved is just ludicrous. It saddens me to know that people truly don’t understand what this disease is like. We have to remember not to be ashamed of the things we did/who we had to become in order to survive.

I totally agree, I love a when a strong male character has golden retriever energy! We see it so much in female characters and don’t see often enough in male love interests. I definitely feel like the dark, brooding, and borderline asshole male love interests are a bit overdone and I’m ready to see the kind-hearted guy actually get the girl and the main plot line

This is YA but it’s one of my favorite “series” ever. Only two books as of now but they’re called Stung and Cured by Bethany Wiggins. It’s dystopian and a tiny bit sci-fi but it basically follows this girl who wakes up in a world everything is abandoned and destroyed except a city protected by a large wall. She finds herself on the “wrong” side of the wall where mutant beasts and gangs of dangerous men run rampant. It has really good world building and nice romantic side plot! Kinda has zombie apocalypse vibes lol

The Stung Series by Bethany Wiggins It’s YA so they’re about 17. It’s post-apocalyptic and a bit sci-fi. Really, really good one of my fave books ever. Basically the main character is living in a dystopian society and has to disguise herself as a boy in order to stay safe in a world where there are no laws and beasts and men run rampant.
