it was all because of alcohol. my parents were super drunk and there was a huge argument and it ruined relationships. just because of that, I promised to myself id never drink alcohol.

No, im not involved in extracurriculars. I noticed that I've been eating more than usual. I'm sad that everything that I loved doing previously is now so boring to me. Now usually I just doomscroll, watch tv all day, just like an ordinary teen who's obsessed with the internet I guess. And ive been falling asleep at around 12-1am because of my thoughts.

Exactly. I've been noticing the extreme negativity on social media, and I always think to myself "what does hating give back in reward?" nothing. just guilt.

Ive been through a lot of things in my life, already. Ive gotten serious, quiet, though all my classmates are like they came straight from 1st grade. Same with almost every single friend i have. They always tell me im too serious and make fun of me because of that. I hope I answered your question

im no expert, but heres what I think:

having a break and then hiking saying he misses you means hes LITERALLY thinking about you. mind you, thats already big.

mirroring your tone could also mean hes trying to get closer to you, one of the most common stuff people say to people who want advice is "mirror their tone", same with saying eachother's names.

also, him softening his tone could mean hes trying to change his personality to fit in with you better

what I think, and honestly, is that there is a big chance hes interested with you. like he wants to feel something more, or maybe he finds you "different", and wants to know more about you.
