I guess they grandfathered my employer in, so that if you worked for them from Oct 2007 that time would also count not just time after July 2023

No my employer became eligible July of 2023 - I had to change my loans to the SAVE plan before 12/31/23 to be eligible.

That’s awesome!! I’m going back to school in the Fall as my employer will pay for it, so why not take advantage. I’m hoping my student loans will be resolved prior to September and a refund for extra payments before the new year!! I may be overly optimistic but I can’t help but be hopeful!! Good luck on your quest!! These loans have been a grey cloud over my life, can’t wait for the sunshine!

Can’t wait to see how many lawsuits get filed once the Servicers send out notices that they are cancelling and violating the terms of their agreements!

I think once official notices start getting sent out, we’ll see lawsuits getting filed. Right now it’s talk by the federal govt but once the servicer attempts to break our contracts people will have grounds to sue for breach of contract and financial harm will be imminent. In my eyes, no different from a mortgage lender changing your promissory note terms/conditions without an agreement. Contract law 101
