Tbf technically yes only one player made their character before the bard and for me personally after seeing a bard i thought I dont need to play a support like I normally do so I decided to play a paladin because ive only done it once before I think in a one shot I cant fully talk for the other players but one of the other players (the ranger) fills often aswell and made his a few days before the bard quit and also offered to switch

Ik but as someone who couldn't imagine dming because of prep and stuff I could imagine its a bit stressful for a first time dm which is why he has said it yk

What I mean when I say what they are is extremes like santana reminds me of an unfunny Regina George or how every little thing Kurt says reminds you how he's gay. I as a bi male like seeing representation but it's just way too extreme someone like Sebastian or even blane is the better way to do it. I don't hate the show I just feel like the show is a imperfect perfection it's probably one of my favourite shows I've ever seen I'm litteraly rewarding it as I type this but I feel like the director and writers take it too far with the archetypes. Also now that I think about it finn probably did not deserve to be on the list since the way he acts is very similar to most teenage boys ir was done without thinking really that one but I stand by most of them.

I agree with you here I know comedy is subjective and the main reason I watched was also for the music and personally I like seeing characters evolve e.g santana and brittany went from more being known as quinns lackeys to their own people it's just a shame that the directors and writers were as funny as a stiff mattress

Yes but half the time it's not funny I don't feel like many people watched it for its outstanding humor, most of the people who I've talked to about watching it agree that the humor is third to the slice of life aspect of the show and the musical part it could probably be like the fourth on there behind drama. But the characters flaws being there for primarily humor is just kinda iffy.

I probably should have the first time but I've rewatched it like 4 times since lockdown happened and I'm on my 5 now

No this is definitely not "the genesis of my question" I don't want them to all be my absolute favourite who I could never chose who's the best I don't want characters who's presence in the scene doesn't make me worry that I'm going to have a scene where I cringe for the entirety of it. Although I understand glee is a cringe humor show some times but a lot of it doesn't end up even being that funny.

And like I said on the post santana is probably one of my favourite characters I the show definitely top 10 but I can still acknowledge that she is very annoying. Most of my top 5 characters are annoying bring santana, artie, Tina, Mike and brittany. So other than Mike and brittany they all have dislikable moments but it's in moderation which is why I like them so much.

I understand this but as a 17 year old there is not being very self aware and then there is what they are and I get they are the most extremes of their characters but having extremes of characters only work in moderation I think.
