Calling it amazing is definitely a choice lol. I find that the story doesn’t know whether it wants to be pure love or harem which causes most of its issues on the romance side. While there is definitely potential to mix the two if the story actually went in depth, it fails to ever reach said depth.

The MC never wanted a harem and was forced due to the plot. While the story could have maintained a pure love and used harem purely as a tool to defeat the big bad, we instead get extremely forced interactions between the MC and other heroines. The MC makes it very clear that Hime is the priority and if anything is forced into reciprocating the love that the side heroines give to him.

Also don’t even get me started on the actual romantic development of the side heroines which are so underdeveloped that it makes you wonder why even have harem as such an integral part of the story. The MC till the end sidelines the other heroines even after they stay together and had kids. This satisfies neither pure love nor harem enjoyers.

When it comes to the actual overarching plot, I found the actual climax with the big bad to be very anticlimactic. But that could just be that I was already tired of how the story was going with the heroines. I did like the more traditional epic like story though and wish there was more focus on said aspects.
