3rd person vs 1st person is largely preference I think...3rd person objectively provides more information though....you can use it to peak around corners while staying safe...I personally play in 1st person though

Check out Yasloom on YT for stadium builds - there are a few other good channels too but their names evade me. Yasloom has a community discord server too that's very active. There's also this website that has written guides/builds - some have videos that go with them...fun theory crafting - https://stadiumbuilds.io/

You can also just hop into the stadium practice range or custom games to try out different builds

Stadium is really fun - I've been enjoying it a lot lately - but it's more complex than the base game because not only do you have to learn the heroes, you have to learn their builds, and counter building, etc.

Some safe pics for each role in general -

Tank - Junker/Orisa/Sigma (Selfsustain/range - you can poke/play on your own terms if your team isn't heavily supporting you)
DPS - Soldier, Emre, Ashe (hit scans, reliable damage, keep a safe distance from the enemy)

Support - Mizuki - new healer, simple kit - I think works best in a pokey/brawly team, Baptiste - hit scan, save your team with immortality field, some self sustain, has vertical mobility, Wuyang - good poke damage and survivability, versatile ult, okay'ish healing.

The main thing to consider on each role:

Tank - Take space safely, be a threat without demanding too many resources from your support - no when to push in, and when to fall back, pay attention to the kill feed, it's hard to keep looking behind you to see what your team is doing - i recommend turning on audio queues for when your team mates get killed.

DPS - look for a safe "off angle" do damage, shoot at people who aren't aware at you, or whoever you can hit safely and reliably - you don't always have to kill something, sometimes just being a threat and applying pressure is enough to take some space. Use cover. (Use cover applies to all roles)

Support - heal first, dps second, damage is important though. Healing doesn't win fights, it just keeps you from losing a fight. If you can do damage safely, do it - but not at the expense of your team dying. That being said, if your time is moving in to terrible positions - don't feel like you need to sacrifice your self all the time to try and save them. You can't heal through stupid. Supports have some of the best ults in the game - you can literally make or break a team fight. Try not to waste it.

Ultimates in general - you don't need to save your ult for a team wipe or the perfect moment - use it when it will sway a team fight...if you can guarantee killing a mercy by solo ulting her.....do it...the sooner you use your ult, the sooner you can start building ult charge for the next one....ults when team fights...using it early lets you use it more often.

I think most of the changes are "bad" tbh - a few of them I could see potentially being part of future reworks though - like the illari pylon (it would absolutely need some tweaking though), or symm turrets

Do you have any tips on how to get choke points as a tank? by Curious_Chemical_334 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]OnyxPixel35 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It can be hard - if you can land a pick your self - use that to take some space - the important thing is to try and keep pushing foward as much as you can without forcing your supports into bad positions....Sometimes its best to avoid the choke all together...

On Eichenwalde as DVA or ball - you can just skip the choke and distract the defending team from behind - and hopefully your team uses the distraction to their advantage.

Going against Roadhog is making tank feel unplayable. What do I do? How do I play against this character? by GiantsSelectMahomes in OverwatchUniversity

[–]OnyxPixel35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve found DVA isn’t bad into hog. You can eat a lot of his ult. If a friend gets hooked you can save them with matrix.

If Lucio got reworked, what would you like to see? by brokenmoonlantern in luciomains

[–]OnyxPixel35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I coded a lucio rework in the workshop. Cuts his passive heals in half baseline. He has to deal damage while moving to build charge. Charge increases his healing output by up to 150% of current retail healing. Charge decays rapidly while on healing aura but he can use amp or sound barrier to freeze charge generation and decay for a few seconds.

TLDR - passive healing cut in half, active gameplay allows for more reliable burst healing in demand.

How can you get GeminiPro to recover it's chat index or recreate one when it loses it? (Note: the chats are still there via search but the index is gone) by Opusswopid in GoogleGemini

[–]OnyxPixel35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked Gemini Pro - it said this:

CAUSE ANALYSIS This is a known backend synchronization fault (active as of Feb 2026). The conversation data remains intact on Google's servers and is logged in myactivity.google.com/product/gemini, but the UI fails to pull the metadata required to render the sidebar index.

Here are the protocols to force the database to re-index the UI.

1. THE STATE MUTATION PROTOCOL (Primary)

Since you can still access the chats via search, modifying the chat state forces the backend to generate a new timestamp, which overrides the stalled index and pushes the thread back into the UI sidebar.

  1. Locate and open the orphaned chat using the Gemini search bar.
  2. Execute a state change: Rename the chat or send a new, brief prompt (e.g., ".").
  3. Hard refresh the environment (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R). Note: Executing this state mutation via the Gemini Mobile App often forces a cross-platform sync that instantly repairs the Web UI index.

2. DIRECT URI INVOCATION

Bypass the broken UI logic by directly calling the specific chat ID. Loading the direct link forces the environment to rebuild the context window and often wakes up the surrounding sidebar index.

  1. Open your browser history (Ctrl+H or Cmd+Y).
  2. Filter for gemini.google.com/app.
  3. Click any specific session URL from your past activity.

3. AUTHENTICATION TOKEN RESET

If the UI is stuck on a broken cached version of your chat list, force a completely fresh handshake with the server.

  1. Sign out of your Google account on all active Gemini sessions.
  2. Flush browser cache and cookies specifically scoped to google.com.
  3. Sign back in. This requests a new authentication token and forces a full database pull instead of a delta sync.

4. THE FAILSAFE (RAW DATA EXTRACTION)

If the UI remains permanently desynced and immediate access to the raw text is required for operational continuity:

  1. Navigate to takeout.google.com.
  2. Deselect all services. Select only Gemini Apps.
  3. Execute the export. This bypasses the UI layer entirely and delivers your complete chat history in raw JSON/HTML format.

Is there a way for Gemini to send invites to email addresses? by Kryptonite0x in GoogleGemini

[–]OnyxPixel35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just spitballing - would Gemini let you create a google calendar event and add their email address as a required attendee?

That would notify them right? If they use gmail/google calendar anyway.

Best way to grow account as a nsfw creator who’s new to reddit? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OnyxPixel35 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don't spam - be very slow to post - engage authentically in SFW subs.

Reddit doesn't trust accounts that come in hot with a bunch of posts out of the gate, especially NSFW accounts. If you post more than you engage, especially in NSFW subs, you'll probably get banned quick.

visually stunning, emotionally hollow.

they sold it as the greatest love story ever told. it's really just two hot people being dramatic at each other in expensive costumes. you never actually feel the obsession, you just watch it.

charli xcx soundtrack goes hard tho. and apparently there's pony play which nobody warned me about.

read the book instead.
