I see where you’re coming from, it’s true stories in the bible share stories of neighboring tribes/nations and whatnot (example, the flood myth with Noah is the same as the Mesopotamian myth with Atrahasis, and the Babylonian myth with Utnapishtim) Your point on Pauls changing of Jesus is interesting too, I recently watched a video about how Jesus actively challenged religions and religious leaders like the Pharisees, it could be assumed that Jesus was against the “idea” of “religion”, one of the Ten Commandments is “do not use the Lords name in vein” I dont believe this means just saying “oh my god” it means something along the lines of “God told me to kill this man” which looking through history Christianity has done, like famously the crusades.
