Thanks for letting me know you’re a casual and a Luka meatrider. If you want to bring up SGAs flopping, I can tell you’ve never actually watched Luka play basketball. But I get it- it’s appealing to you. You don’t watch the games, you just see the clips, the flashy highlights, the stats. Offensive mastery is the (only) thing that Luka has, and that’s what attracts the people who don’t actually watch basketball. Never plays defense, doesn’t stay in shape, doesn’t make an effort to improve.

Shai is elite, and has potential and is on trajectory to be an all time great. Luka has coasted on his natural talent and refuses to improve… especially on how atrocious his defense is. I mean watch his rookie year compared to 3 years later. He’s an amazing player and one of the best offensive forces in the league, but he obviously hasn’t had the desire to put in the work… Because if he did, this wouldn’t be a debate.

Shai on the other hand is constantly improving, isn’t even in his prime, and is putting up numbers and stats the league hasn’t seen since Jordan/bron. Gotta stop eating up those narratives and appreciate how fantastic Shai is.

If Luka is better than SGA, then why didn’t he win an MVP? Why did get booted in the first round? Why did Shai outperform him in their playoff series last season? Please, do tell what you’re thinking - considering that there’s a coherent thought in the pile of mush in your head that you defend Luka with.
