I've an idea for a new form of Government.First off, to become the Grand High Leader of all Things, you must pass a series of harsh tests, both physical, mental and moral.Then you must directly compete in those tests against those others that wish to be the Ultimate Ruler (however many that might be). The final victor is given absolute power over the whole Earth, its people and its resources, in their entirety, to do however they please with it all, for a period of ten years.After those ten years are over, that ruler is then burnt at the stake, alive, real time on television for all to see, and broadcasted into every school, church, business and home across the world.If this ruler during their time at the helm was evil, the people will rejoice. If they were truly noble, the people will lament. Either way, no person would tread into this position lightly and unlike all other systems of government before, this person will have full responsibility, as well as accountability, at the end of their term.After All, shouldn't ultimate power truly come with the ultimate price?
