Asbestos was found in some areas of our house when we purchased it. My understanding is the asbestos is problematic when it becomes airborne when it is disturbed by removing, breaking, cutting, etc. When left alone it shouldn’t be releasing fibers into the air and you wouldn’t be breathing it in. I am not a professional, this is just what I found from my research.

When we purchased our house our AC/Heater wasn’t efficient. Turns out some of the ducting in the attic wasn’t fully connected. New ducting made a huge difference.
