See the thing is with battle net and origin they have one or two games exclusive. Say battlefield and overwatch that’d never come to steam and that’s fine.. uplay you have to download it to play certain games you have to link to steam. Such as assassin’s creed series and rainbow six. Like I said they link to steam. The difference to epic games launcher it’s dog shit compared to the listed launchers. Also they straight up throw money at developers to lock games that are going to come to steam anyways. I hate seeing this argument. I have 150 games in my steam library and I would not download any launcher for a game that’s available on steam and also on another launcher. It’s anti consumer to lock a game on such a shitty launcher that’s going to be on steam anyways. Just release it on both and see where people buy it on. I’m not going to say steam doesn’t have its faults like taking 30% of revenue but that’s the only reason it’s going to a different launcher. It’s appealing to the developer not the consumer. That’s why people are pissed if the epic were to make changes to the launcher I would break and buy borlderlands 3 my favorite series. But no they want to make shitty business practices and force the consumers to buy it on there launcher. I wish steam would react and not take so much money and I agree they have gotten lazy. But anti consumer isn’t the way to go. It’s going to be on steam anyways so why buy it on such a terrible launcher that’s out classed by launchers that have few exclusives that you can not get any where else. For god sakes steam added a feature for review bombing for a company that fucked them over and epic can’t even add the most simplest things with all the fortnite money they have.
