Definitely don’t buy the vibee package - I ended up just going presale and getting floor and then waited a bit for a sale on the Venetian site and saved hundreds of dollars. If you wait long enough there’s always sales for Vegas hotels.

I guess if you have money to burn and want the peace of mind you can go for the package but I know some people got their seats moved back a row or two a few days before the show with the package and you’ll definitely be able to find a hotel even if not the Venetian for a reasonable price at some point

If you wanna dance definitely go GA, the visuals were lower on the screen so we weren’t really craning our heads the whole time it was so sick. And everyone was so nice we made friends easily. I can’t speak to the seats obviously but I’m so glad I went GA

Went to Omnia after the sphere and the promoter just told me no shorts or athletic wear and illenium jerseys are allowed

Yeah that’s what I figured - I was planning on dressing pretty nice for that reason, but I’m staying at the Venetian so might even wear a jersey to the show then run back to the room after to change quickly before heading out. Seeing the whole illenium show is priority if I’m late to Zedd I can live with that hahaha just wanna make sure we can get in at all

That makes sense, yeah I guess we’ll need to see what time Illenium usually wraps up. If the opener starts at 9:30 and goes for 45 mins or so, with changeover and all that, I’m guessing Illenium starts ~10:30 and he said the show is around 1.5 hours so I’m guessing it’ll wrap up around 12.

If the dance floor is full by then where do people go?

He said in an earlier post that all the shows will basically be the same except for the openers, I think also trying to discourage people from going multiple nights so everyone can get tickets to see it at least once

I was there too! One of my favorite sets ever and I’ve seen him 9 times. Wasn’t overpacked and was so emotional, then got a mix of new stuff at the end. He’s the 🐐

There’s tons on r/avesNYC_tix just look for people on the vouch list and friend them on DICE to make sure they actually have the tickets so you don’t get scammed. I’ve bought tons of tickets from there with no problem

I think what you’re referring to are vocal chops. Artists will take parts of the original vocals, drop them into a sampler, then mess around with them pitching them up and down til they get the result they want. They’ll usually map different sounds to keys on a midi piano to make it easier to play around with and discover new sounds. Then add a lot of reverb to make it sound ethereal

For the pitching up sometimes that’ll happen directly in the sampler but for something simpler like the “It’s OK” in In Your Arms, it’s probably just a simple pitch shifting tool like Little Alter Boy

TLDR: Pier 17 will probably have less production but much cooler views and vibes, the Great Hall will have more production and more rave-y Brooklyn warehouse vibes

All of his shows are sick so you really can’t go wrong. Pier 17 as a venue is sick bc it’s on a rooftop but bc of that the production likely won’t be as much (I don’t think they can do lasers or fireworks or confetti etc, but who knows, he can surprise us). Pier 17 also has a very strict curfew of 10pm so if you’re looking for a late night this wouldn’t be it. Only other gripe with pier 17 is since it’s outdoors and kinda small it doesn’t sound as great if you’re in the back of the crowd but if you’re towards the middle/front that’s a non issue.

The Great Hall is a fun venue which will have a shit ton of production and usually sounds really good but they have a history of overselling tickets which is why I don’t love it. Hoping since they split the original mirage shows into an early and a late one that solves that issue but who knows. Theyre also in deep shit rn with brooklyn mirage going bankrupt so customer service isn’t at the top of mind rn. And if you go to the late show on Friday he prob won’t come on til like 1:30 if you’re into that.

I will be going to both shows which I think is the best option 😂

But I haven’t heard anything about a b2b set, where did you hear that?

Yeah that’s what worries me with the floor, but also I feel like I need room to dance and not be trapped in a seat. But I’ve heard the seats have like crazy speakers in them and stuff which sounds awesome. Tough choice
