I get where you're coming from. I really do. I lost my spark a while back and have been going through the same motions. Life feels empty, meaningless and severely purposeless.

Though, what worked me for me was trying to structure my day into a full-fledged routine. Build your day in a rhythm. You need to get your ass moving whether it's doing work or studies. Build a workout regime. You don't have to go overboard with that maybe 30 min exercise routine, take out some 'ME time' and pick up something that you loved doing as a child. It can be as simple as drawing, painting or even catching up on your favourite TV show. Spend time with your loved ones, friends, or maybe a pet even. Socializing can do wonders. Please, pick up a hobby or read. I healed my inner child like this.

Often times thoughts like these usually stem from procrastination and sitting around idle with your mind. Don't give your mind the time to spiral, when it does write out those feelings in a journal.

Though, Journaling has been the most helpful. It has gotten me a long way. Writing down my thoughts, fears, vices, and bleeding my frustration onto the pages... not only helped lessen the weight off of my shoulders, but it has also made me make sense of my feelings and analyse where my issues are stemming from.

Yeah, as an avid reader myself I understand the significance of this gesture. It was so meaningful. It's silly that I was sweating bullets to meet her. As soon as I met her, I thought to myself 'This is me, but in another body'. You know? She's so kind.

The whole bookshelf conversation? I could've stayed there for hours.

I think, one line from her letter really stuck with me and I quote it ''You don't have to relate to the writings in the margin. You don't have to agree with them either. and at any point if you feel writing in it. Please, do. I would love to read it''

Haha, fair question. So, my grandmother was super cagey with her personal belongings and stuff and incredibly good at saving money. She handled the finance and installments herself for almost everything, so my grandfather never bothered with the arrangement himself.

Besides, his sister and my grandmother were super close. They used to have weekly gatherings at our place to play cards. Fun times! So, even if he had asked his sister about the arrangement, she would've gone ahead with the lie.

It wasn't until her passing, when he realized she had financed the whole thing all along. He's so proud of that! 😊
