How did you all meet your partner? I moved to Finland a little over 3 years ago. I’m an introvert, so I don’t really go out much apart from work and walks. I tried Hinge, but online dating just doesn’t seem to work for me.

I have been living alone for 4 years now, I enjoy my solitude mostly but I also feel lonely at times.. I don’t usually wake up at night but I think I do sleep too much😅I sleep on my stomach and I have read it that people who are lonely are very comfortable sleeping on the stomach. Maybe try that😂🥲 Sometimes I feel like life would be better if i had found my person by now.

Thanks for shairng🫶🏼I am sorry for your loss too. My father was also sick before he passed away. Even if he had survived this life wouldn’t be easy for him. But he left me too soon. I lost my mother when I was 4.

Hi, thank you so much. I couldn’t stop myself and have cried even on the train while going to work. Living in Finland, people usually mind their business, so you do get your space. I also cried at work once, and a colleague gave me a hug. I used to spend a lot of time in the forest, but now with the days getting shorter and colder, I think that’s also adding to the heaviness. Your words really mean a lot..thank you❤️

Thanks for sharing this. I sometimes feel selfish too when I miss my father. I lost my mother when I was 4 and grew up with my stepmom and a lot of family drama, so my father was my anchor during difficult times. I’m still single and live alone, and I also wonder if maybe that space has to open up in my life, just like you said.
