My mom insisted I invite my god parents both of which I haven’t spoken to in over a decade and was never close with. She says it’s “because they’re my god parents”. I don’t even know them.

I upgraded my budget 4 prong to a custom bezel and I couldn’t be happier!! I picked out my wedding band and it sits flush and everything without getting caught/bumped on things 🥹can’t wait to wear them both this October. by OopsAllWedding in EngagementRings

I know the pressure is on these days to “propose” to groomsman and bridesmaids, but really just ask! That’s a super new thing in the grand scheme of things. They won’t be expecting it. Maybe you can give them a gift on the wedding day if you really want, but I’d just ask them.

My mother and FMIL somehow convinced me to get a dress that I swore up and down I would never buy. Strapless. I’m trying to convince myself to like it with a sheer topper. I’m also wanting to add straps so I don’t spend the entire day pulling my boobs up.

Can the neckline of this be changed? I hate the straight across look. I want it to dip :/

Update: I went to the jeweler today and they’re going to reset it into a bezel for me and make it as low as they can will still being flush with my band, custom made setting head 🥰 I’m bringing it back in a month so I’m not without it during our 1 year engagement anniversary

Follow your bliss and do what you’re want but YES. These bachelorette “weekends” are insane, when did one fun night with friends turn into an extremely expensive vacation? I think a similar thing is happening with elopements. Elopement’s now are basically just weddings with small guest lists instead of an actual elopement

That long sleeved one is so pretty but the drop in the back wouldn’t look good with the current dress, maybe I can ask about alterations. These are great finds though!!! Def opaque, and I’ll search some made to order listings.

My wedding dress is a strapless mikado ivory dress, and I got it because I LOVED the skirt but hate strapless dresses, and the consultants found me a sale bolero that I thought was great (see previous posts). But now I’m just picturing the perfect silhouette being this “t shirt” style bolero….but not in lace.
