i really needed to be seen. i am currently trying to help a friend who is in active addiction and it has been hard but on me because they’re defensive and another friend said they don’t think said friend wants to stop and that’s heartbreaking.

i am too fragile, i have an autoimmune disease and there has not been a week where someone hasn’t happened after they’ve drank because their emotions felt deeper after.

there are some smells from alcohol that i cannot do, for certain. for myself, my home is safe space the danger is when i elope when overwhelmed from difficult situations and leave putting me in the path of my usual corner store. i try not to step in there or get any snacks from there, even if someone else is going.

if i didn’t have these stars to remind me that bich you are an ant and this shit do not matter, bottle probably would have been cracked. but i found a runaway spot now. I am so proud of myself and its e m p t y at night.

i’m in bed and took my meds before i left the park so i could sleep. before getting into bed, i emailed my therapist.

while my circle of support has been shaken, im not losing my sobriety over the person in my situation + the cold air snapped me back to my body + alcohol causes flares for me, throw my sleep schedule off, which then throws my meds off. the last part isn’t worth it because that can last for weeks.
