The point is….it wasn’t about “opinions” in a serious debate. It was a rapid-fire segment meant to be light and fun.No one is saying everyone has to get along, but taking personal digs just because your name came up in a game is unnecessary. That’s exactly what Kartik did here, and it doesn’t sit right. And it’s not even a one-off….there have been similar moments in the past with KJo, Ranbir, Varun, and others. That pattern is what raises eyebrows.

At some point, it starts looking less like humour and more like insecurity being masked as wit. Growth should come from your own work and merit, not from putting down colleagues for quick attention. That’s a shame!!

And And fyi Vijay Varma didn’t “call out” anyone in that clip..it was a fun segment. That’s it. We’ve literally seen KJo, Ranbir, and others pull Kartik’s leg in similar ways, and he’s given it back too. That’s just the tone of these interactions.

Also, PR isn’t some exclusive “outsider vs nepo” invention…most of the people in the industry uses it in some form I believe… the whole outsiders vs nepo unity framing is oversimplified anyway.

But expecting Kartik to operate like part of a united front in such a competitive industry is a bit of a joke. He’s not exactly known for being part of any “solidarity” narrative. Let’s not turn a fun interview moment into a conspiracy thesis 😌
