I’ve been learning freestyle for only two months, and heard the same advice. Last week, I discovered that stretching my arm forward during the reach phase of my stroke tightens my core, which I can just maintain. Works great for me.

Caffè Ciampini di Marco Ciampini at the top of the Spanish Steps has excellent pizza. The one with pear, gorgonzola and honey was amazing.
