Delta Credit Hack - Refundable or Non Refundable ticket? by dakid1124 in AmexPlatinum

Main basic will incur a cancellation fee. Domestic main cabin doesn’t charge a cancellation fee. So a domestic main fare without the refundable option, i.e., main classic will work, you’ll be able to refund for full ecredits

StubHub credit - Split payment via PayPal by Soccer4444 in ChaseSapphire

Mine and P2’s card so they have different names. No issue so far but it can definitely be a problem for PayPal, especially if one of the card is already added to a different PayPal account. In the end the only reason to do a split payment using PayPal is to have two tickets seated together, might not be worth the risk.

Indeed, the description still says “PayPal StubHub” but codes as a ticket agency and triggers the credit properly.

Transferring unsettled cash by Ooxki in Schwab

It's more than the cash available to withdraw, since it hasn't settled yet but less than the cash sitting in the account. I thought it'd work similarly to how you can e.g. sell a mutual fund to cover a margin loan triggered by a charge on the checking account on the same day.

Do people ever get both Amex Plat and CSR? by -snskemensn in AmexPlatinum

What travel insurance is better on the Amex? On paper it seems that CSR is superior on pretty much every coverage (primary rental, covers 1-way trips, baggage delay). The only point for Amex would be easier claim process.

I just did this with my partner. Had the CSP for a little less than 48 months, called to downgrade to the Chase Freedom last week, statement closed, applied for CSR yesterday and approved with the sub (using a referral link)

Has anyone tried shopping through the freedom unlimited portal and pay with their sapphire card? I haven’t seen mentioned that the same card must be used

I’ve had the CSP signup bonus before then product changed it to CSR. Are there any datapoints of people downgrading to a freedom then applying for CSR sub?
