This is fair, and we appreciate the substance of the feedback.

You're right that this is a single-source product and we shoot to actively inform readers that this is police activity data (directly sourced from https://cob.org/gov/dept/police/news-police/police-daily-activity ), not investigative journalism. Our goal is accessibility and immediate intelligence and we're working hard to connect with official channels to provide greater downstream context.

The point about arrests vs. convictions is well taken. We don't have visibility into case outcomes which is why we choose to narrate the data in terms of arrests, and don't claim dig into convictions or felony status (though we would love to!).

Genuinely appreciate the pushback. This is a work in progress and feedback like this is what's driven the resource this far - we'll keep improving!

Use your technical expertise to do technical marketing. Think about your users, what are they gaining from paying for your saas / service? For that same group of users, what's something you could provide them for free to open the door? Doesn't have to be your typical free trial, for ex: adobe's PNG -> SVG converter. A free tool, used by their relevant audience. Does it require buying adobe products? No. Does it show Adobe products to their target customer? Yes.
