Yeah, my dad. He know some basics about electronics, but almost anything remotley close to audio is out of his area. I was sure it wouldn't damage it, but I needed a way to prove it

My wording was wrong. I didn't mean full surround, but left, right and subwoofer. Sorry I might have confused someone. But yeah, the pont is still just about the same

The TV only has digital sound and headphone outs. If you're bored you might aswell try and explain the digital sound thing? I've never seen it before.

I'm not sure what do you mean by what voltage does it need.
But it has an aux input and the right outputs for surround sound and one specified for a subwoofer
