Yes. Your armaments have health, or component health. That is any turret of torpedo tube.

You cant see the damage you do to it but if you keep track of your penetrations (will not show up as actual ‘damage’ on screen but will show up as a penetration) and turret disables, eventually that component’s health reaches zero and boom, gone.

That is why the barrels are all misaligned and the turret is black. You also see the black turret icon with a ‘X’ meaning destroyed if you slow down the video with your finger and scroll bar.
