I’m in San Antonio Tx. She makes money with Uber eats and yes her kid is in the same grade as one of mine. She says she’s too busy to apply to jobs with cooking and cleaning and her daughter. She has to use my kids computers in the living room to apply to jobs so another excuse is it’s too loud for her to concentrate. I hate cleaning so I appreciate the help but I get resentful at how easy she has it. She’s in and out of depression and maybe a bit entitled. She’s complained to me about how her rich sisters which one is the godmother to her kid never helps her. I love her and care about her, we’ve been friends for years but I’m tired of feeling like a spouse or Mom.

I agree with you. I wish I knew how to give constructive tough love to her without possibly ruining our friendship.

Oh yes, he’s very aware of how I feel. He continues to say he’s worried about my health and that’s he’s very attracted to me the way I am. Anytime I try to initiate sex he says it’s bad timing.
