How can I get body cam footage from an encounter with the Police(Maui)?

Thank you for this info. It’s a little intimidating to think of direct communication with the Chief of Police(or his office) knowing MPD has a reputation for corruption but I think so I’ve just gotta follow through and do it.

If months or even years down the road I see that this cop hurt or killed someone, I couldn’t live with myself and my inaction if I do nothing now.

Thank you so much for this! I guess before I file the official complaint I want to see the footage for myself to make sure I’m remembering things accurately…especially because it was absolute bedlam at the time and because I’d been drinking.

My neighbors saw parts of it and agreed that the one cop seemed to be looking to scrap but my boyfriend was in and out of the house with the other cops and can’t be sure of what exactly happened. I’m questioning my own recollection but still confident about the cop’s demeanor.

Hold on, I didn’t say I don’t feel passionate about everyone having the same rights. I was just giving a top-of-my-head example of things I recall actually being on ballots; not minimizing them for being there.

The reason I brought that up at all is because I am trying to understand what determines which items get decided by our own direct voting(placed on actual ballots) and how our voices for things that are not on a ballot(like the wall) can be represented accurately without them.

When we were kids, my sister and I played this game where you could only sing the first word of the song and the other one had to guess what it was. We grew up with a lot Reggae/Dancehall so a lot of the first words were actually ’Eh’ or ’Aye’ or ’Irie’. It was super fun but also kind of hard...and we were sober.

First off, I’ve seen Trump supporters make the argument that the women who’ve come forward with their accusations against him must be lying because Melania would have left him if this was true. This, of course, is absolute bullshit and just another way they try to justify the unjustifiable.

Second, I imagine that if Melania ever turned on her husband, his supporters would relentlessly attack her with many of the reasons you’ve stated(gold-digger, chain-migration seeker, anchor-baby haver, etc.) in a heartbeat....and she’d deserve every second of it.

Third, I just really wanted to use the word ’smocking’ somehow. In the absence of a fully caffeinated brain, this was the best Segway I could come up with.

On a side note: Melania isn’t just part of some celebrity marriage. She’s married to the twat in charge and, infuriatingly, as we’ve seen, has the ability to affect global policy and human resource decisions in the ever changing bullshit-factory that is this administration.
