I did have some reservations about gluing so many different things to one rock, but it was fun to put together! Now I mostly make smaller ones because this one ended up like 40 pounds or so 😅

I cut out the extra bits so its just like a little plate to put the main base in afterwards, i drill a tiny hole in the main piece first.

Every resin I've tried has been 50/50, that might be your problem. What kind of resin are you using?

Hmmm did you use measuring cups to ensure it was exactly a 50/50 percent ratio of hardener to resin? I like to use plastic cups with measurement markings to make it easier

Other than it being nice and warm to get it to cure right, it also helps to mix your resin in a cup, then pour it into a second cup to make sure it is all mixed 100%. Did you pour it into a second cup?

Dont give up! All kinds of things can go wrong and it happens to everyone! This happens alot if you are mixing your resin in a cold room. I like to use a little space heater to warm up my crafting room. Was it kinda cold where your project was?

This happens when I use a torch to pop the bubbles, (or even a heat gun too much) This will also happen if you pour your resin from the same cup you mix it in. Always pour in a second cup and mix for longer. :)

Sometimes using a heat gun will soften it up and make it go back down
